The galahs or the courage is my new artwork. These are Australian birds. In the traditional Aboriginal culture, they are often seen as a symbol of courage and strength, as well as adaptability and survival in harsh environments. Their pink colour is also associated with love and romance.
– ‘Galahs or Courage’ is a 60 x 60 x 3 cm big artwork on canvas.
– The work shows two galahs on the brunches on a greyish-green background.
– The work is created in the mono-type technique, using acrylic and acrylic inks. Spots create unique and unrepeatable imprints of colour and shape that are interesting to both: the view and the touch.
– In the work, the accent is placed on bright colours, chosen intuitively and which make us pay attention to the beauty of galahs.
– The edges of the artwork are a continuation of the drawing depicted in the painting. The work does not need to be framed: it is ready for hanging on the wall.
– Colours in real life can be a little bit different from the colours in the photo.
The work is intended for those who need the courage to start a new project, change something in their life, courageously speak and clearly express their ideas. It is a beautiful and decorative artwork for every house.
